Investment Insurance for Financing Entities

Through the Policy for Financing Entities:

• Coverage is provided to banks that grant a loan to the foreign subsidiary of a Spanish company.

• It covers the risk of non-payment of the loan due to consequences of a political nature. The terms and conditions of this Policy are similar to those of the political risk coverage for a Buyer Credit.

Who is the insured party?

The Insured Party is the bank that provides financing to the foreign subsidiary.

It covers the risk of non-payment of the credit or the inability to transfer the funds to Spain due to the occurrence of risks of a political nature. 

Cesce sets the price according to the individual characteristics of each transaction.

Ask Cesce about the conditions and price of the insurance policy when you identify a possible sale and purchase transaction. You do not need to have the contract signed.

You need to send an application, which will be examined and analysed. 

• Cesce analyses the risk associated with the requested coverage based on the information provided by the Insured Party.

• The risk analysis focuses on the assessment of the political risks that are requested to be covered in the investment destination country. 

• Once the risk has been analysed, the Company submits a proposal to the decision-making body. If approved, CESCE will issue a proposal of terms and conditions. If the Insured Party accepts the proposal, the coverage will be formalised once the parties have signed the Insurance Policy and the Insured Party has paid the premium.
