From that alignment with our business, we work to completely
integrate sustainability in our strategy through a transversal
approach that encompasses our environmental, social and good
governance commitments. 

Therefore, in the strategic “Cesce 2025 Impulse Plan”, Sustainability is identified as a new line of action within the strategic pillars. 

Sustainability Master Plan

The 2023-2026 Sustainability Master Plan is created as the key driver of change for promoting our strategy and contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Good corporate governance is the foundation of sustainability.  We are governed by a framework of ethics and good corporate governance that allows us to maintain trust and guarantee transparency and business ethics.

    environmental initiatives

  • Ongoing partnerships with associations: Addeco Foundation, Create Foundation, Menudos Corazones, WWF, Valora Foundation, etc.

Approach
The approach of our environmental management is based on minimising the impact on our surroundings. Our objectives in this
field include our commitment to decarbonisation of the economy and contributing to a circular economy through responsible consumption.
Commitment
Our main Environmental commitments are:
  • Measuring, streamlining and reducing the carbon footprint of the corporate activity and the business by the company
    itself.
  • Measuring the footprint of the portfolio by the State, to be able to advise the Administration on issues related with the
    carbon intensity in the export activity
     
Initiatives
  • Calculate, Reduce and Offset seals, achieving neutrality for scope 1 and 2 of the corporate headquarters.
  • Consumption of 100% renewable energy since 2017
  • Scope 3 carbon footprint quantification project (Corporate and by the company)
  • Control of our direct environmental impacts related with our activity through a Comprehensive Management System.
  • BREEAM certification, which evaluates the sustainability of the building, with excellent category for our corporate headquarters.
  • Measures for reducing paper, electricity and water consumption by each employee.

Committed to the 2030 Agenda


Sustainability is in our DNA, in our background and daily work. For over a decade we have adhered to the United Nations Global Compact.

Since we joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2011, we have
shown our clear intention to align our strategy and way of working
with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

In this way, we have actively committed to the “decade of action”, an
initiative intended to transform the world through the collaboration of all sectors of society to achieve the 17 SDGs. 

We have identified eleven priority SDGs and defined specific actions to our strategy and action plan with contributing to achieving these goals.
